Simon Packham

Simon Packham has written several highly acclaimed books for young people, including Silenced, which was shortlisted for multiple awards, and Firewallers, chosen as one of The Independent's Children's Books of the Year.
Simon's most recent book Worrybot (UCLan) was acclaimed by The Observer as a 'profound story about friendships, confidence and school refusal with an absolutely audacious plot twist'. Has Anyone Seen Archie Ebbs? (Firefly) was selected for the Empathy Lab's Reading Collection and shortlisted for several awards.
His new book Zak Monroe Is (Not) My Friend (UCLan), is a story about boys' friendships and anxieties about the transition from primary to secondary school.

Simon is also the composer and lyricist of eleven musicals for primary schools. He lives in West Sussex with his wife Deborah.
