Simon Packham has written several highly acclaimed books for young people.

Firewallers was chosen as one of The Independent's Children's Books of the Year and Silenced was shortlisted for multiple awards. 

 

Has Anyone Seen Archie Ebbs? (Firefly) was selected for the Empathy Lab's Reading Collection and shortlisted for several awards. Worrybot (UCLan) was acclaimed by The Observer as a 'profound story about friendships, confidence and school refusal with an absolutely audacious plot twist'. Zak Monroe Is (Not) My Friend (UCLan), has been welcomed for its sensitive treatment of children's anxieties about the transition from primary to secondary school. A new middle grade novel is in the pipeline.

Simon is also the composer and lyricist of eleven musicals for primary schools. He lives in West Sussex with his wife Deborah.
