Ruth Lauren lives in the West Midlands in England with her family. When she isn’t writing, she’s almost certainly reading, playing D&D (badly) or falling down the rabbit hole of whatever she’s currently obsessed with. 

 

​Ruth's fabulous Tourmaline trilogy for middle-grade readers has been completed with Tourmaline and the City of Nowhere (Little Tiger Press). The Irish Examiner called the first book in the series "An explosion of imagination – characters, world-building and story are all on point."

Her acclaimed middle grade novel Prisoner of Ice and Snow was chosen by the American Booksellers’ Association as a top debut of the season, and its sequel Seeker of the Crown earned a starred Kirkus review.
