Moira Butterfield
Moira Butterfield writes books which spark children's imaginations and interest in the world around them. Having studied graphics and English Literature, she went on to become a children’s book editor, then a full-time children’s author.
Moira’s recent and forthcoming books include Snore, Sneeze, Burp (Happy Yak), Welcome to Our Playground and Look What I Found By the River (Nosy Crow), Does a Bear Wash Its Hair? (Bloomsbury) and The Secret Life of Clouds (Words + Pictures).
Moira lives with her family in Somerset, where she enjoys cycling, exploring the West Country and singing in a community choir. Her ambition is to visit every county in the UK, taking her trusty bicycle along.
