Clive Gifford is an award-winning writer of non fiction for children. Based in Manchester, he specialises in engaging and unusual projects which captivate kids.

 

The Colours of History (QED) won the 2019 Blue Peter Book Award; while Eye Benders: The Science of Seeing And Believing (Ivy Kids) won the prestigious Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize. Other books written by Clive have won the Times Educational Supplement, PBS, Smithsonian, Sainsbury's and School Library Association awards.
