Ben Lerwill

Ben lives in Oxfordshire and has two young children, whose vivid imaginations sparked his interest in writing children’s books. He is also a freelance travel writer, an enthusiastic chef, and a very bad guitarist.

His words have appeared everywhere from National Geographic Traveller and The Sunday Times to BBC Countryfile Magazine and The Guardian. Things that make him happy include wildlife, long walks, and cricket.

Ben’s children’s non-fiction debut was Wild Lives (Nosy Crow), followed by One World Many Colours (Quarto), Climate Rebels (Penguin Random House), and Wild Cities (Penguin Random House). He has various other fiction and non-fiction titles in the pipeline.
